I have always been interested in visual arts and military history, which is reflected in my works on battlefields. My work is not based on a specific era. I am attracted to the subjects of the Middle Ages as well as the epochs of the Napoleonic Wars. Battles of the 17th century Commonwealth and the Polish-Bolshevik war. The problem that I often grapple with when preparing to paint a battle scene is obtaining the appropriate sources regarding the weapons, uniforms and tactics of the troops taking part in the battle. This is because of my broad interest in military history. Those who are passionate about these matters know how much time, effort and money it is necessary to invest in a thorough understanding of the realities of the selected historical period. For my part, I am doing my best to present the warring sides as faithfully as possible, but I will probably not avoid making mistakes. Whoever does nothing is not mistaken ... That is why I am asking all experts of the events presented by me for understanding.
